What is a VEVO channel?
The VEVO channel is a property account VEVO on YouTube. Videos are published on the channel to ensure that they are monetized as VEVO content. How long is my channel created?
The VEVO channels with LITE option have a maximum activation time of 60 working days. The channels with BASIC and STANDARD option are activated with an average of 30 working days, the channels with UNLIMITED option are activated on a maximum average of 15 working days. In the periods of numerous record releases, the opening of the channel can take longer.
Can I access and administer my VEVO channel?
No, VEVO manages all created channels properly. You can make changes (images, links or descriptions) via ticket.
I already have a VEVO channel, can I manage it with you and recover the contents?
You can request the portability of an existing VEVO channel. Contact the Radio Promoter technical support for more information.
I have a YouTube channel, can I transport videos and views?
No, VEVO is a separate platform from YouTube, which is why you can't join channels.
Can I have a VEVO channel as a record label or agency?
No, you can't open a channel other than that for Artists. However, you can activate a VEVO Label package for Disk Labels.
How many videos can I upload to my channel?
You can upload all the videos you want besides those included in your plan. If you exceed the videos included, you can upload additional videos for only 15 € + VAT 21% cad.
How much is the upload time of a video?
The loading time is up to 72 hours.
How is monetization managed?
The ads are randomly inserted into the videos of the YouTube and VEVO platforms. We do not have the control of which ads are attributed to the video, because it is a random computer selection process. We remember that on BASIC, STANDARD and UNLIMITED options 100% of the royalties generated are distributed to the user, while 20% of the royalties generated are distributed to the user for the LITE option.
How much are the Royalties paid?
The visualization closures are available every 6-8 months, payments are made in 30 days after closing. The standard payment method is via SEPA or PayPal transfer.
Can I ask for my channel's refund if it hasn't been activated yet?
You can request a refund of your Channel within 48 hours of the order. After 48 hours and the activation process is not possible to request a refund and you will have to wait for your channel to be activated.
