What is a VEVO channel?
A VEVO channel is a VEVO-managed artist channel on YouTube. Videos are published there as official VEVO content and monetised accordingly. They may also be available through VEVO apps on supported platforms such as Samsung TV, Fire TV, Amazon Echo, Apple TV, Roku, Pluto TV and others.
How long does it take to create my channel?
LITE channels are activated within a maximum of 60 business days. BASIC and STANDARD channels usually take around 30 business days, while UNLIMITED channels usually take no more than 15. Timelines may be longer during periods with a high volume of releases.
Can I access and administer my VEVO channel?
No. VEVO manages all channels directly. You can request changes to images, links or descriptions through a support ticket.
I already have a VEVO channel, can I manage it with you and recover the contents?
You can request the transfer of an existing VEVO channel. Contact Radio Promoter technical support for details.
I have a YouTube channel. Can I transfer videos and views?
No. VEVO is separate from YouTube, so channels cannot be merged.
Can I have a VEVO channel as a record label or agency?
VEVO channels are created for artists. Record labels can instead activate a VEVO Label package.
How many videos can I upload to my channel?
You can upload additional videos beyond those included in your plan for €15 plus 21% VAT each.
How long does it take to upload a video?
Uploading can take up to 72 hours.
How is monetization managed?
YouTube and VEVO place advertisements automatically, so we cannot choose which ads appear. BASIC, STANDARD and UNLIMITED plans pay the user 100% of generated royalties; the LITE plan pays 20%.
How often are royalties paid?
View reports are finalised every six to eight months, and payments are issued within 30 days of closing. The standard payment methods are SEPA bank transfer and PayPal.
Can I request a refund before my channel is activated?
You may request a refund within 48 hours of placing the order. Once that period has passed and activation has begun, the order can no longer be refunded.
